WE ARE SO EXCITED!

We’ve been personally invited by mustard museum curator, Barry Levenson of the National Mustard Museum in Middleton, Wisconsin to take part and compete in the World Wide Mustard competition. This annual event is held under the auspices of the National Mustard Museum where to date, some 6,600 mustard’s from around the world, grace the walls.

National Mustard Museum

Dedicated to promoting the condiment, mustard purveyors from around the world have entered this prestigious competition since it began in 1995.

Founder and curator of the Mustard Museum, Barry said I have been coordinating the judging of the WWMC from its inception. It is a blind tasting competition, therefore the judges have no idea if the mustard they are tasting is a mustard from a small boutique mustard producer, like The Bear and The Ladle or a large multi national company.

Food writers, culinary instructors and expert chefs will be judging the mustard’s.

The Bear and the Ladle will be entering both their Coriander Honey Mustard and Beetroot Rosemary Mustard and will be on display in the museum.

Judging will be completed by April 20 and judges decision and results will be awarded by May 15

Best of luck to

The Bear and the Ladle!
